Description
Caption from July 15, 1971 Sacramento Bee reads "DEDICATION PREPARATION - Don Douglas, a Sutter Creek stonemason, reconstructs a stone wall on which a historical plaque for the Keystone Mine in Amador City is being mounted as an Amador County landmark. His job will be completed before 11 a.m. Sunday when a dedication ceremony is planned at the mine site adjacent to Highway 49 at the southern end of Amador City. Assemblyman Eugene Chappie of Cool, El Dorado County, will unveil the bronze plaque."
