Description
Photograph of a family harvesting citrus fruit in Oroville, ca.1926. Two children sit next to wooden crates filled with oranges in the right foreground. Behind them a woman and man stand on ladders collected oranges in sacks around their neck from the trees at right. Another row of trees stands at left while a horse-drawn carriage stands between them in the center background. Hills stand in the distance. This is a grove from which the earliest oranges in the state came from.
