Description
Thomas Perry discusses his book, “Vanishing Act.” He begins by introducing his main character Jane Whitefield and gives information on her Seneca Indian heritage and her job to give people new identities. He talks about having fun with his writing, especially in the beginning of the book when the reader doesn’t know who the narrator will be. Perry discusses how he wanted to write this book as if he himself was disappearing and getting a new identity. He ends the interview by talking about his home in upstate New York, the Seneca Indians, and why people get false identification.
