Martin White's Bay Mill established in 1850 (located on Front Street, between L and M); plant sold to John Dolbeer in 1856; mill destroyed in 1860 and rebuilt by Dolbeer (known as Bay Mill No. 2). In 1863 went into partnership with William Carson.
