Description
Landscape view of Pasadena, California, with flat, empty land, agricultural fields, scattered trees, and the San Gabriel Mountains in the distance, as seen from Bacon's Hill, located on the (modern-day) border between Pasadena and South Pasadena.
Title derived from Watkins New Series stereo #4792. Date devised by cataloger; Watkins made two trips to Southern California, in 1877 and 1880. Transcribed from enclosure: "[Forms panorama with 74.618 and 74.619]. / [Marengo Ave. running N. to mountains]."
