Bust-length portrait.
1990-1674.
Born in Indiana in 1819. Came to California via Panama in 1849. Spent time gold mining before settling in Sacramento as merchant. Owned Lindley & Co. Served on Board of School Commissioners and Board of Levee Commissioners. Died in 1896.
