Description
Photograph of a path and a fence near a cactus patch in Santa Monica's Palisades Park, ca.1915. The sloping path rises from the foreground at left to the center, where it abruptly turns behind a row of hedges. The path is bordered by a wooden fence made from twisted tree branches while a stone retaining wall runs along the incline at left. The cactus is growing on a cliff at right. Behind the cactus are many palm trees while several buildings and utility poles are visible in the distance at right.
