Photograph of the pillar ruins of the city of Metla, Mexico, ca.1900. The interior of a stone building whose roof is completely absent can be seen. The walls can be seen at left, right, and across the background. A row of five thick pillars can be seen down the center of the ruins from left to the back wall at the center background. The pillars are the same height as the surrounding walls.
