Photograph of an aerial view of flooding of the Santa Ana River near Colton, showing a break in the levee near Santa Ana, ca.1930. The wide river of muddy water flows from right to left over the squares of surrounding crops. The trees which line the banks are drowned in the overflowing water while the fields in the foreground appear to be unharmed.
