Photograph of a map of a tract in San Gabriel where the Evertson adobe used to stand, 1960. The outline of the residence is shown at center and labeled as such while the juncture of Carmelita Drive and San Marcos Street is pictured at the bottom left. Bushes and trees are also indicated on the property. The map is dated 1959. Evertson built the home in 1851 and conducted the 1st United States census of Los Angeles after California became a state.
