Description
Photographic portrait of Mrs. Simon Nordlinger, pictured in bust, ca.1900. Mrs. Nordlinger is shown in profile from the chest up, looking off to the right. She wears a darkly-colored dress whose front is lavishly decorated with a non-descript accoutrements. She wears small earrings and has fastened her dark hair up into a bun. Her skin is very tan. Her face is smooth, the nose and the lips sharply defined. She appears to be in her thirties.
Mrs. Nordlinger was the wife of Simon Nordlinger, one of Los Angeles' early jewelers.
