Description
Photograph of an aerial view of the Thomas H. Ince movie studios in Culver City, 1918. The studio is in the bottom left corner of the image and can be identified by two large sound stages and the impressive plantation-style administration building. Behind the studios is a budding neighborhood, with neat blocks marked by straight street. Construction has begun on a handful of houses, but most of the land in this area is empty. There are hills in the background.
