Description

Photograph article dated October 5, 1960 partially reads, "Mr. Rick, the movie horse, has lost all interest in performing the tricks which have made him famous. Paddy, his tiny Pekingese pal, is gone. The giant palomino stallion and shaggy white dog have been inseparable companions for the past four years. Movie stuntman Lennie Geer, owner of the pair, said the dog apparently strayed or was stolen from his home at Box 180, Old Topanga Canyon Road, sometime last Friday. And Rick is making it clear that he misses his friend." Pictured are Mr. Rick beaming approvingly at his pal, Paddy the Pekingese.
