Vesta Ransom Fay, born November 22, 1859 in Suez, Ill., moved to Burbank in 1937 to live with her son Donald. She previously had been living in Sanford, Fla. with her husband, Dr. Joseph Fay, until his death in 1924.
Photograph dated November 22, 1962 reads, "Mrs. Vesta R. Fay, 103 -- She's 'older than Thanksgiving.' "
