Photograph caption dated September 14, 1964 reads, "Repeats triumph - Dyrol Burleson (No. 5) duplicates his New York Victory in the 1500 meters as he scores here over Tom O'Hara (No. 3) of Loyola of Chicago in 3:41.2. Burleson represents the Emerald Empire AA and the pair will spearhead U.S. hopes in their specialty at Tokyo next month with third finisher Jim Ryun, a 17-year-old Wichita prep sensation."
