Photographic portrait of six couples of "La Jota" Spanish dancers led by Jose Rivera, Los Angeles, ca.1910. The dancers are arranged in a line, alternating girl and then boy, from left to right. A mariachi band stands to the far right with a small boy standing in front of them. The men are dressed in bolero suits and the women wear skirts, blouses and bolero vests. The men hold their partners' left hands in the air with their own. Forest can be seen in the background.
