Description
Harold Brown presenting a memorial album to Oscar Mayer, Jr., at the dedication of the 60-inch telescope, Palomar Observatory. The men are standing behind a podium in the Oscar G. Mayer memorial building which houses the telescope. An unidentified guest is seated in the audience, seen at the far right. Two empty chairs are on either side of the podium. A small portion of the telescope is seen in the upper left-hand corner of the photograph. The observatory's balcony is behind Brown and Mayer.
