Photograph caption dated October 14, 1963 reads, "Twin brothers from Canoga Park are establishing a ranch-school for boys which they hope will become the 'Boys Town of the West,'...Andy and John Zaffuto, 36, say their school will be located in North Fork, 45 miles north of Fresno...will have charge of 25 homeless and needy boys 16 to 18 years old. Many of the boys will be placed by the county courts as wards. It is hoped the project will be as successful as boys Town near Omaha, Neb., established by Father Flannagan."
