Image of a whiteface clown holding a sword with the decapitated head of a black devil biting the clown's finger with its teeth while the devil's headless body, in a green leaf costume, sits in a chair pointing; the poster advertises the pantomime musical comedy "Kajanka" as produced by the Miller Brothers.
Probable date approximated by cataloger based on advertisements for the Miller Brothers' production of the pantomime in 1889, 1890, and 1891. "The / Springer / Litho. Co. / N.Y."--text, bottom right. "No 680"--text, bottom left.
