View from Monadnock Building looks northwest across Market at the corner of Geary and Kearny. The sidewalks are crowded. A Geary Street cable car is arriving at the left; the stage must have barely cleared its turntable. The ends of two United Railroads cars, a 1600-series and a "Chicago" car, are visible on Market Street. A horse-drawn conveyance is in the immediate foreground. Tetrazzini sang at this stage on Christmas Eve 1910.
