Description
As an additional means of spreading the war bond appeal, Santa Fe Railway had the familiar "Buy War Bonds" sign, lettered on many of its cars. Shown is the Santa Fe dining car painted in red, white and blue with the message. The sign appears on both sides of the cars. Photo dated: August 24, 1942.
