Anna (Arnold) Brownell's father was Benjamin F. Arnold, co-author of History of Whittier. Her family came to Whittier in 1892 when she was age 2. She was active in numerous Whittier organizations including Whittier Area YMCA, Whittier Area Girl Scout Council and founded the Whittier Community Beautiful. Jack Swain came to Whittier with his family in 1893. He was active in several local businesses and organizations. They discuss their families, water, oil and local Whittier people.
