Description
Plates in: Sun pictures of Rocky Mountain scenery : with a description of the geographical and geological features, and some account of the resources of the great West; containing thirty photographic views along the line of the Pacific rail road, from Omaha to Sacramento / by F.V. Hayden. Plate no. [XXVII].
Illustrated with thirty views taken by A.J. Russell while in the employ of the Union Pacific Railroad Company. These documented the construction of the Pacific Railroad, initially published in 1869 in album, The Great West Illustrated.
