A group of youngsters inspect the big engine of the Freedom Train on February 24, 1948. Written against a background of red, white and blue are the words, "Spirit of 1776." This was Brotherhood Day during the train's stay here. The engine was manufactured by American Locomotive Company and General Electric Company.
