Photograph caption dated December 5, 1983 reads, "Rescue workers care for four children, ranging in age from 4 to 8, who were injured with their 31-year-old mother when their van flipped over the guard rail on a Long Beach Freeway overpass and plunged to the railroad tracks below yesterday. The accident may have been the result of a hit-and-run driver who either hit the van from the road, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said. The victims, whose identities were not released, remain hospitalized." This is the Union Pacific Railyard in Commerce.
