Description
An interview with Don S. Carrell, who worked for Southern Pacific in Sacramento, California from 1936-1979. Carrell started work in the Maintenance of Way working as a carpenter on bridges and trestles. He also worked in the Sacramento Shops as a Boilermaker's helper. He later became a Switchman and Yardmaster. Carrell ended his career as General Forman in the Sacramento Yards.
