Description
A view of the attic opening to the no longer standing attic from inside the Higuera-Galindo Adobe. This photograph was taken during the restoration process. The building was restored and preserved by historical architect Gilbert Sanchez and contractor C.F. Buckley in 1978 and was the first adobe in California restored using authentically rebuilt non-stabilized adobe bricks and plaster rather than modern substances.
