Description
Allan Miller discusses his book, “A Passion for Acting.” He begins by explaining that he has acted in over 175 different movies and television shows including LA Law, Northern Exposure, and many soap operas. He talks about his time at the Actor’s Studio in New York and his tumultuous relationship with Lee Strasberg. He describes his career as an acting coach, and that he worked with Barbara Streisand when she was 15. Miller talks about the importance of learning how to improvise a script. He ends the interview by discussing creative liberties an actor can take with a role.
