He had the habit of coming onto the mission station regularly once a week, in order to receive alms from the missionary Bettler vom Geschlechte Lo, eine Stunde v. d. Station Kutschuk (derselbe pflegte regelmässig einmal in der Woche auf die Station zu kommen, um vom Missionar ein Almosen in Empfang zu nehmen)
