Photograph caption dated September 21, 1959 reads, "Describes Rifle Burglar -- Walter Woodworth, 52, seated, owner of Burbank vending machine company, shows officer Robert Wells where bandit hit him on head with rifle butt before robbing safe of $5,000 in coins today. Bandit, masked in stocking, later shot company employe [sic]."
