Mr William and Mrs Nancy Freshwater and Mrs Gertrude Turner in camp at Abercorn, Northern Rhodesia [later Mbala, Zambia]. circa1922. Mr and Mrs Freshwater were lay preachers, carrying out evangelistic and educational work in the Central African mission area between 1902 and 1936. Gertrude and Bernard Turner worked in the Central African field from 1903 to 1940, with responsibility for the Society's Industrial Training Institute.
