A statue of a friar can be seen atop a stone pedestal in the center. Flowers surround the statue, and a bench can be seen at right. Two pepper trees are visible in the background. Further in the distance, the long adobe main building of the mission is visible. Several large archways can be seen, and the roof is covered with terracotta tiles.
