Description
Fifth Street before excavation which removed the central embankment and created a level street. The Edison Building (now One Bunker Hill) has been modified since this photograph. Originally built 1930-31 on the NW corner of S. Grand & W. 5th St. This view is from the upper floor of the Biltmore Hotel. Architects:Allison & Allison (Austin Whittlesey).
