Photograph caption dated November 25, 1964 reads "The auxiliary of the Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic will hold its annual Candlelight Tea and Bazaar at the estate of Mrs. Hamilton Spalding and her son, George Hamilton, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 1. The estate was built in 1909 and formerly was owned by Douglas Fairbanks. Making arrangements for the event are, from left, Mmes. Lauren A. Dahl, Sherman Oaks, president; Harold Tamblin, Sherman Oaks, and Donald P. Franks, Encino. Mrs. Robert A. Allison is tea chairman. Christmas gifts and decorated candles will be on display throughout the house. Proceeds go to the clinic." The Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic is located on the grounds of Childrens Hospital, 1408 N. Vermont Ave.
