Scope/Content: Part I Hossein Alizadeh Setâr Poem of Manouchehr Soltani, reading by Jessika Kenney Translation, Fatemeh Keshavarz Dastgâh-e Segâh Hossein Omoumi and Ostâd Kassaie, ney Poem of Mohammad Reza Shafi’i Kadkani reading by Hossein Omoumi Translation, Fatemeh Keshavarz Part II THE HEART IN LOVE Rhythmic pieces arranged by Hossein Omoumi 1. Pishdarâmad and Châhârmezrâb in Avâz-e Bayât-e Tork inspired by the compositions of Ostâd Shahnaz. 2. “The Heart in Love” Masnavi by the poems of Eraghi (13th century) 3. A piece in Avâz-e Dashti inspired by a composition of Ostâd Kassaie poem of Hâfez (14th century). 4. A 7 beat piece inspired by a folkloric music performed by Ostâd Kassaie poem of Rumi (13th century).
