Title supplied by cataloger.; Original photograph has several small stains.
Photograph caption partially reads "Hal Emerson, race driver, of 10867 San Fernando Rd., Pacoima, left home Tuesday, Oct. 5, and was later reported missing by his wife, Hazel. He has two sons, Robert, 11 and Carl, 9. He told his wife he was going to take part in a race at Carrol Speedway, Gardena, but track officials there said they held no races Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, and said he was not regular racer there." Pictured from left to right are Robert Emerson, Mrs. Hazel Emerson and Carl Emerson.
