Description: A close-up photo of the Remarks section of the record of execution of Walter Burke who was hanged at Folsom Prison on January 17, 1930. The remarks indicate Mr. Burke was one of six prisoners who tried to escape Folsom Prison on Thanksgiving Day 1927, during which another prisoner was killed.
