Scene on Tyrer Ranch. Cleared area in foreground formerly supported chamise chaparral. Now cleared and grazed and sown to grass. Spotly brush in center is chamise, scrub oak, Ceanothus cuneatus, cleared and goat grazed only one season. Heavy brush in background is Quercus wislizenii, Quercus dumosa, Umbellularia californica, Cercocarpus betuloides
