Photograph of Broadway looking north from Fourth Street, ca.1904-1905. Horse-drawn carriages are parked along the curbs and share the street with an electric streetcar (in the distance) and a few automobiles. Most of the buildings are 4-stories or taller. Businesses occupy the street level, residential and commercial tenants and occupy upper floors. Pedestrians walk along the sidewalks and across the street.
