Recollections of Pearl Williams Budke, date of birth unknown. Stories include early life the Owens Valley with Mother Clara Goodale, a Bishop Paiute and Grandfather George Symmes of Independence. Also included, stories of growing up at Fort Independence, Manzanar War Relocation Center, experiences as a child with public education, Coso Hot Springs, Saline Valley, the Goodale family, teaching Paiute children, and Owens Valley Paiute plants, medicines, ranching, and farming.
