In the foreground, a partially-paved road is pictured, half overblown with dust. In the background, a narrow dirt road runs the length of a section of barbed-wire fence. Houses can be seen in the background. Photo is labelled to depict N Street and O Street in Wilmington looking east from Broad Street before improvements have been made, 29 November 1933. Electric power lines show, street curbs with drains show but the road is obviously of dirt construction.
