Description
Photograph of a drawing depicting a birdseye view of the Second Street hill as seen from the top of the Bryson Building, ca.1888. The tall, adorned spire of a church stands in the left foreground while pedestrians and horse-drawn carriages navigate the street below, in which streetcar tracks can be seen. A little farther back, a four-story building with spires that appears to be a hotel can be seen also. A side-street attaches to the main road from the left at the end of the block. The rest of the scene is filled with similar hotels or large Victorian-style tenement buildings.
