Description
View of the landscaped grounds surrounding R. J. Burdette's residence at 891 South Orange Grove Avenue, in Pasadena. A partial view of the house and its chimney may be seen above the tree tops. House was built in 1892 as a Mission Revival style mansion designed by architect Frederick Louis Rochrig. Landscape architect is Ulrich. House may have been called "Sunnycrest," and was originally built for Col. P. C. Baker.
