Photograph caption dated May 19, 1959 reads "Popular plan to officially mark Arbor Day was acclaimed by residents of Woodcrest Development, Woodland Hills, as two trees were given to each new homeowner here. Planting one of several hundred trees distributed are (from left) developer Fame Le Sage, gas company manager L. R. Pickup, co-developer Howard Ryan and Woodcrest homeowner Mrs. R. L. Wilborn. Tree planting program will be continued throughout the development."; See images #00118492 through #00118499 for all photos in this series.
