Photograph caption dated April 27, 1965 reads "Taft High's Lee Shalon streaks across the tape in the 100-yard dash yesterday as the Toreadors whipped the Birmingham Braves, 66-47, and clinched the West Valley League dual meet championship. Shalon was clocked at 10.4 on the Taft turf. Birmingham and Taft were both undefeated going into yesterday's contest." Taft High School is in Woodland Hills.
