Annie Chow and Judy Dan, queens of the Chinese-American Citizens Alliance, know that today is St. Valentine's Day, but it also is New Year's Eve to the world's Chinese population. They are seen here boarding a Western Air Lines DC-6B at Los Angeles International Airport for a flight to San Francisco where they will reign over the Bay City's gigantic Chinatown celebration, largest Chinese affair of the year in the United States. Miss Chow, 21, is a native of Los Angeles and a 1952 graduate of UCLA. She now teaches art at South Gate High School. Miss Dan, 21, resides in Hong Kong, came to the U.S. as China's entrant in Miss Universe Beauty Pageant, where she was named one of the five most beautiful girls in the world.
