Description: It was a truly Classic finish as 1986 Kentucky Derby winner Ferdinand (6) and jockey Bill Shoemaker held off 1987 Kentucky Derby winner Alysheba and Chris McCarron to win the $3 million Breeders' Cup Classic and probably Horse of the Year as well. Photo dated: November 22, 1987.
