Description
Photograph caption dated June 22, 1960 reads, "Joyce Lambeau, Democratic Convention hostess, is helped down the fashion ramp by California Convention Coordinator Glen Wilson. At right, is Miss Lambeau's hostess partner, Mrs. Philip Brooks." Each hostess wore their new blue and white Democratic Convention hostess outfits and a pair of perky white shoes. A luncheon was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel honoring California's "Golden Girls". All 260 hostesses attending the luncheon received a charm and a new white purse to complete their outfits.
