Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes.
Old telephones are piled high at General Telephone's reclamation center in Pomona. High cost of using new components makes refurbishing worthwhile for companies. There's no loss in quality. Here, an employee sprays chemical cleanser on telephone switches before reassembly. Photograph dated September 21, 1975.
