Photograph of a football game between the University of Southern California and University of Wisconsin during Rose Bowl, January 1, 1963. The interior view of a football field is visible along with two rows of players lined up in its middle and other players in the back are standing in engaging positions. Groups of people are visible standing on each side of the field they are all looking towards the players. People can be seen crowding the spectators' seats which are arranged in rising tiers. In the left side of the field, a sign is observable on the ground which reads "ROSE BOWL". Hills fill in the backdrop. USC won by a score of 42-37.
